Jocelyn Kitchen
Jocelyn has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1998. She has taught in Poughkeepsie, New York; Oxford, England; and Lawrence, Kansas, where she earned her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2014. She received her CIYT Level I certification while teaching in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2021.
Amy Stewart
Amy loves introducing her students to the precision, beauty, and unique challenge of Iyengar yoga. She began her yoga practice in 2002 to aid recovery from a running injury and found that asana is a wonderful metaphor for all of life’s challenges.
Anne Barkley
Anne adores Iyengar yoga and loves to share this gift with others to help them experience greater energy, freedom of movement, strength, balance, and reduced stress. She first studied Iyengar yoga in 1988 and began teaching in 1999.
Carol Gardner
Carol began her study of yoga in San Diego, where her first class was an Iyengar class. Over the years, she has tried other styles but always returns to Iyengar-style yoga for its precision and attention to detail. She appreciates the Iyengar focus on students' safety.
Mary Bridle
Mary's 48 years of experience as an occupational therapist have given her a deep and comprehensive understanding of how the intricate human body, mind, and spirit function across a range of health and well-being states. Mary has been practicing yoga in the Iyengar tradition since 1984 and teaching since 1992.
Rebecca L’abbe
Rebecca’s teaching is thoughtfully informed by many diverse streams of interest, including a rich background in dance, a commitment to ongoing study of physiology and anatomy, and a delightful sense of humor that she brings into the classroom.
Ronda Ingersoll
As a studio owner for 9 years, Ronda has dedicated herself to fostering a welcoming environment for yoga practice. She has been a committed Iyengar yoga student since 2012 and enjoys sharing her passion for this discipline.
Sandra Pleasants
Sandra is privileged to have studied at the Iyengar Institute several times and to have attended every Iyengar convention since 1987. Sandra discovered yoga in her early 50s. She is now in her mid-80s and, after bilateral hip replacements in 2009, continues to practice, teach, and explore life.
