Hip hip hooray! Join instructor Mary Bridle for a class to give your hips the love they deserve.
Tight hips can affect everything—from how you walk and sit to how your lower back and knees feel. In this 90-minute Happy Hips class, we’ll use poses in the Iyengar yoga tradition to safely release tension and build balanced strength in the hips and pelvis.
Expect a little anatomy information, standing poses, supported hip openers, and props to warm up the legs and pelvis, gradually deepen hip opening, and finish with supported restorative poses that allow the hips to soften and reset.
This class is ideal for anyone who sits for long hours, athletes looking to maintain hip health, or yogis who want to cultivate both strength and spaciousness in the hips.
