Part 2: Rope Wall Yoga
Saturday, September 20
9:30am - 11:30am
Join Yoga Cville and Mary Bridle for this exciting class to level up your Rope Wall Yoga practice! In our upcoming session, we'll dive deeper into the fascinating world of Yoga Karunta, a style that means “puppet.” This unique approach allows you to enjoy various asanas while being suspended, helping you release tension and feel a beautiful sense of openness. You'll find that this method brings more depth to your twists and inversions, all while being gentle on your body.
Practicing yoga with wall ropes comes with a host of health benefits. It boosts flexibility, aligns your spine, and strengthens your muscles. Plus, the ropes assist in decompressing the spine, providing relief from back discomfort. They help you save energy when practicing inversions, making it a great choice for anyone recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions. The ropes can be your ally in maintaining balance and offer a gentle approach to achieving postures.
We’ll utilize the yoga wall and straps to support your body and anchor your feet, allowing you to hold poses longer, refine your breathing, and explore your asanas more deeply.
This workshop will explore a variety of standing, seated, and inverted postures. We’ll experiment with dynamic “Rope 1” variations too. Don't miss this opportunity to learn new principles and broaden your yoga knowledge!
